Alcohol or drug addiction extracts a tremendous cost on society estimated at $25 billion annually in lost time, accidents and increased insurance costs. Everyone knows someone with an addiction either in your firm or in your family. Addiction effects one of every 6 workers.
It is a tremendous drain and so many do not get the proper treatment or counselling and are lost to society.
This session is an educational seminar on how to help those in need of assistance for the company’s well-being as well as their own.
Our guest speaker Patrick Delahunty of Revitalize Lives Inc. is a certified addiction counsellor and has worked with construction employers and families.
Patrick will speak on his experience and the various services available in assisting employers to effectively deal with an alcoholic or addict employee.
